Part of Seattle Beer Week, Haze Fest at Reuben’s Brews finds focus through the hazy lens of modern IPA. Saturday, May 14th.
Many breweries make hazy IPAs. No, wait, scratch that. Damn-near every brewery makes hazy IPAs. Some breweries do it better than others. Craft Beer & Brewing magazine’s Readers’ Choice awards named Reuben’s Brews one of the top 20 hazy IPA brewers in the nation. Not too shabby given the fact that there are nearly 10,000 breweries in the USA.
Haze Fest returns to Reuben’s Brews on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Last year it was a virtual event for obvious reasons I care not to mention. This year it is back in all its glory.
“We introduced Hazealicious IPA to our core range in 2018, regularly release hazy, juicy collaborations with our friends in the industry, and launched our Crush series to celebrate this popular style,” said an email from Reuben’s Brews. “So it made perfect sense to dedicate an entire day to the haze craze when we first announced it four years ago. And, after going virtual in 2021, we’re very excited to bring Haze Fest back to the Taproom.”
When they swing open the doors on Haze Fest Saturday Reuben’s Brews will tap into `16 different hazy beers, some of the usual hazy suspects, as well as six different one-off infusions of their own creation and several guest taps. On top of that, they’ll offer the Haze Fest T-shirts and glassware.
