Two upcoming beer festivals from the Washington Beer Commission.
The Washington Beer Commission just announced two upcoming events. First, the Inland NW Craft Beer Festival (Sept. 24 and 25) in Spokane. Second, the Washington Beer Fresh Hop Festival (Oct. 8 and 9) in Redmond. Tickets for both events go on sale Thursday, July 15th.
After a non-voluntary hiatus that lasted well over a year, The Washington Beer Commission is now ready to return to business as usual. And for the Commission, that means beer festivals. Big, awesome beer festivals to showcase the best beers that our state’s breweries pump out.
As it has in the past, the Inland NW Craft Beer Festival takes place at Avista Stadium in Spokane, the home of the Spokane Indians minor league baseball club. It will highlight beers from across the region. In the past, this event featured 40 craft breweries pouring more than 150 beers along with live music, great food, and baseball-themed fun. Friday is ages 21+ and Saturday is family-friendly. We expect this year’s event to look much the same but we will update with specific details about the 2021 festival as they become available.
The Washington Beer Fresh Hop Festival is an all-new event that will take place at a familiar location, Marymoor Park in Redmond. Local beer lovers are familiar with the Washington Brewers Festival, which takes place at Marymoor each June. That event could not happen this year so the Commission scheduled the Washington Beer Fresh Hop Festival instead. We will provide more details about the event as they become available.
For now, just smile and know that this is one more sign that we are now moving in the right direction. The Washington Beer Commission organizes some of the biggest, and arguably the best, beer festivals in the state. I am certain that the Commission feels very good about getting back to doing what it does best.
Mark the date. Tickets for both of these events go on sale Thursday, July 15th. Visit washingtonbeer.com for details and tickets when available.
