Get ready Seward Park, here comes Chuck!
The original Chuck’s Hop Shop location opened in Greenwood back around 2009. Unless you lived in West Seattle and frequented Super Deli Mart, you’d never seen anything quite like it: a corner grocer, or a convenience store, morphed into a top-notch beer destination.
Then, in 2013, Chuck’s Hop Shop opened a second Seattle location, Chuck’s Central District. The same basic concept, but a little different. Today we share the news via social media that Chuck’s is opening a third location: Chuck’s Hop Shop Seward, not far from Seward Park in Southeast Seattle. Again, a little bit different. Still in the early stages. No opening date announced yet.
Chuck Shin, the impresario behind the Chuck’s empire, developed a winning formula, creating inviting spaces for beer lovers of all types. Both locations are family-friendly, yes, but also fiercely devoted to beer. Both are beloved by the local neighborhood residents and also revered by beer geeks citywide. So look out, Seward Park neighborhood, something good is coming your way.
On social media today, they made the following announcement:
“We’re incredibly pleased to announce that we’re opening our 3rd place inside the Seward Park @thirdplacebooks! We are thrilled to partner with them and create a truly unique experience.”
“This location will feature an espresso bar, a TBD restaurant concept, an expansive and well-curated tap list, and the same great family-focused environment you’ve come to love! Plus a whole lot more once we get the doors open!”
“We’re just in the beginning stages, but we just couldn’t keep this secret any longer! We will do our best to bring you all of this awesomeness as soon as possible. We’ll keep you posted with some fun teasers as we get going. We look forward to serving you in Seward Park!!”
