Earlier this month, representatives from six breweries gathered at Future Primitive Brewing in White Center to create the first collaborative beer from the Westside Beer Trail. “United by great beer and broken bridges” is the mantra uniting six breweries (seven locations) on Seattle’s Westside, from Burien to Alki.
On Saturday, May 7th, Logan Brewing is throwing a party in Burien to introduce the Westside Beer Trail and the group’s inaugural collaboration beer. The brewery’s patio will spill over into the street to serve its own beers alongside beers from the other members of the Westside Beer Trail. Live music, food, and beer. The event also marks the release of the collaboration IPA, available on tap and in cans.
“United by great beer and broken bridges, the Westside Beer Trail passes through six of Seattle and King County’s finest craft breweries,” said Logan Brewing on Instagram. “The trail is 10 miles of award-winning breweries, brewpubs, beer bars, and bottleshops.”
Exactly what the Westside Beer Trail will encompass remains to be seen, but for now, it is all about a spirit of comradery, pride, collaboration, and community. The breweries involved in the Westside Beer Trail:
