As breweries reopen their taprooms across Washington, it’s all about expectations
Kendall JonesMore than two months following the coronavirus-related shutdowns that shook Washington state’s beer world, businesses are starting to reopen, county by county, operating within the state-mandated guidelines. It’s part of the much-discussed Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan and it includes brewery taprooms, brewpubs, taverns, bars, and restaurants. We’ve talked about the guidelines at length: operate at no more than 50 percent occupancy, enforce social distancing, no bar seating, limit group size to five people, and so on.
